Beyond Bars brings together volunteers working in more than 10 countries to address youth violence through prevention, policy, and systemic change.
Potential volunteers, partners, researchers, and supporters can explore our projects and learn how the work is organized. The organization’s work spans storytelling, legislative tracking, data visualization, and youth-led research into access to justice.
Ways to contribute
- Research and policy: support the collection and organization of public legislative information.
- Storytelling and writing: help communicate lived experiences and knowledge with care.
- Data and visualization: help aggregate, analyze, map, and communicate data.
- Youth justice research: contribute to research about young people's access to justice, legal systems, and rights.
