The Beyond Bars Digital Policy Tracker is a public-facing initiative that monitors legislative developments related to prisons, systemic violence, and youth justice. By organizing information about bills, sponsors, legislative status, and potential implications, it aims to strengthen transparency and make policy developments more accessible to the public.

How the work is organized

The documented workflow uses Google Sheets for initial data entry and approval. Replit has been identified as the intended platform for website and database development. The tracker is a separate initiative from this main Beyond Bars organization website.
